Post kasai with orange stool color

Baby is 7 weeks post kasai, he was diagnosed with BA. Now stool color had turned yellow and his billi also going down although GGT and ALP were going up ( we were given antibiotics for this). Now what puzzles me is he just had orange like stool and I worry coz we were not told anything about that color... plz help a worried mommy...

As far as I know, as long as the stool has color (except red or black) it should be a good thing. I would worry if it turns pale like before kasai. Hang in there! - BA mom

Is he taking ADEK ( the Orange colored vitamin supplement), that makes the poop bright orange too. Eye out for pale or white stools is important.

i think maybe that color is due Dekas plus medication, if he takes any. i hope i helped you. wish the best for your baby
