Months old, before this her poops show a very yellowish color, but just now when she poop the color is a bit pale does this means the kasai is failed?
HI Yuie, This must be such a worrying time for you but the only people who can answer your question is the medical team. Hi yuie! My son had his kasai at 70 days old and right after surgery his stools had color but his bili levels kept rising. It wasn't until 2 months post kasai did his bili levels start to come down. It takes a while before you will know if the surgery has failed or not. Just remember you have a strong baby! Let me know if you have any questions. Your family are in my prayers!
