More comfortable blood tests

A suggestion which may make blood tests less distressing for you or your child. Putting some EMLA cream, which is a local anaesthetic, about half an hour before the blood tests, has made them much less painful for our son. He was allergic to AMETOP cream (the skin became red, swollen and itchy so not that helpful!) and doesn't like the cold anaesthetic spray, but EMLA is great. The hospital can supply this.

Anything to make clinic visits and the whole hospital experience a bit better :)
