Pins &Needles (numbness in hands &fingers)

When in bed and inparticularly when waking getting pins and needles in hands and most fingers, depending which side i have been lying on. It seems more frequent now.

Seen the GP who thinks it could be carpul tunnel, but i suspect its from upper arm shoulder area. Dont get same symptoms in daytime unless i have arms bent for a considerable time ie. on the telephone.

I would appreciate any advise or suggestions

I have the same problem but put it down to breast cancer medication didn't effect I keep turning over through the night first on one hand then the other no problem unless like you I lean on it during the daytime
