Is this angina?

For about a month now I have been experiencing an uncomfortable, sluggish feeling in my chest that can go on for hours at a time. Occasionally (about once a day) it gets really painful.

I looked up the NHS website, and my symptoms seem to match that of angina (neck pain, tiredness, breathlessness, pain in left arm, etc).

However, I am only 14 and I am of a healthy weight. I admit that I do not exercise a lot. I didn't think that angina could affect people my age.

It used to be that I could just grit my teeth and bear it, but it's beginning to affect my concentration in school.

Any help?

Please see your GP for any tests that may need doing. The results of these will probably answer all your questions. Worrying about the problem may only make things worse, so please seek help - if only to discover you have nothing to worry about.

Don't forget.....Angina is a symptom, of heart disease, usually CVD/CAD, but can also be a symptom of other heart issues.....See your doctor

Angina at 14 is not really something I would worry about.

The fact that you are searching these things out would possibly suggest you are suffering from anxiety maybe.

Go and see your GP and tell them exactly how you feel.

That alone may make you feel better

Take care
