Did you feel overwhelmed when you were at the cardiologist that you couldn't get him to answer these questions for you? Next time you see him, or if you are going to see your GP soon, write these questions down and make sure you get the answers. It can be very traumatising when you get news about your heart, it is bound to frighten you and you cam't collect your thoughts, but don't panic. Today there are many solutions to heart problems and these should be discussed with your cardiologist and GP. They should both be able to put your mind at rest and you should get the treatment you need. All the best to you.

Never come out of seeing a specialist with questions you still want answering ashey are the expers and an give you the mot accurate answers. You are not wasting their time, they are there to help you understand your illness, He had he information at his finger tips where we can only guess what he knew. Your own Doctor should be able to answer everything you want to know and e should have an answer from the specialist.

Your own dr. will get a letter from the Consultant, just ask for a plainer down to earth explanation that you can understand easily.

some experts feel so important that they speak "Medically"

forgetting that the Patient wants to hear it in "plain English"
