I recently had an angiogram done and they found no clogged arteries, however I am still having bad chest pains and they come on at any time.

I have had the same clear Angiogram but still getting the pains although not as bad. My doctor is currently looking at the possibility that in my case it could be Stomach Problems. Currently awaiting an Endoscopy?

It could be some form of Angina, or a "stiff heart muscle". I have had four stents, a double bypass and AF, my bloodpressure is usually on the high side 158 over 90 or so. However, Angina pain is, I feel, more of a crushing weight feeling in the chest with residual pain between the shoulder blades. Make a note of when it occurs and for how long, i.e. walking up stairs, lying down in bed, raising your arms above your head bending over etc. It is usually possible to see a pattern. The trouble is that so many symptoms in isolation can mean many things - they need to be joined up by a professional.

leeden, This is something that is not understood, it is frequently ignored so dont fret. Air quality I found eventually caused me similar prob, it took me ages to recognise. When I had walking test cool aire was blown at me so didnt have adverse reaction...odd but true. Hope all gets sorted soon.

Sorry you have had such a rough time. I had a Heart attack and was given an angiogram which wasn't necessary, My Heart attack was caused by a blood clot, I have sticky blood. Hughes syndrome, its easy for you to see if you could have it just look up Hughes syndrome on Health unlocked

Good luck
