Thinking of trying pravastatin which is the only statin I haven't been on. Anyone able to share their experiences, good and bad of this one?

Can't answer your question, but isn't pravastatin one of the older, less potent statins?

Are you having real problems with the one you are on? I know you've been on statins for a long time.

Hi Aliwally, Yes after some experimentation on my part I find after long term use atorvastatin causes me upper back, neck, chest and upper arm muscular pain and rosuvastatin gives me weird tingling and muscle twitching. Had no side effects when first started on these but developed them after months/years of taking them. Feel ruining my quality of life.

I tried 4 different statins terrible side effects but then I was given Lipantil micro fenofibrate200mg years ago and they have no side effects for me. but I suppose it depends on the individual good luck.
