I am on plaviz, rosuvas and ecosprin since last 10 months. Since last couple of months, have bloating of stomach in the evening and an uneasy feeling at all times in the stomach region.. Does aspirin cause it? What remedy?

You need to look at the side effect of all the medication you are taking and need to have a discussion with your GP or doctor to get a medically qualified answer.

Its possible but not necessarily the cause of your issues. I take a baby aspirin 81 mg dose and it is enteric coated to reduce gastric upset on a daily basis and I don't have that issue. It is possible you may have gastritis due to other causes and aspirin may be triggering your symptoms.

Gastritis can be caused by numerous things including a poor diet, excess body weight as well as the overuse of pain killers, contracting a bacterial or viral infection. You may wish to check your symptoms with your doctor and investigate the possibility of gastritis.

Aspirin is best taken with food.

I take aspirin 150. May be this is a high dose.

If you're taking it daily that is a higher dose than I've ever heard before.

But in kolkata(India) many doctors continue with this dosage for a period one year after stenting

Here in Canada the dosage is 81 mg for the same purpose.

Will consult another cardio and try to seek his opinion. I believe this high dosage may be the cause of continuous discomfort since I embarked on these medicines.

I was stented and was given 75 mg but for the first year I also took another blood thinner, Clopidogrel (Plavix) which I took for a year. Today I only take pycnogenol after doing away with the aspirin.

When did you get the stent, I mean, which year?

I got stented on April 1st 2015. One branch of the main LAD artery. So almost three years ago. I'm a farmer, I do heavy work but for the first few months I took it kinda easy. Don't rush things, chill, go walking, try to never get stressed and don't smoke, you'll be fine.

In the meantime, ginger is a good antidote for gastritis. Make some ginger tea.
