Just an update on my cholesterol levels.
After 3 months on 20mg atorvastatin got my updated levels.
TC - 9.9 to 6.6
LDL - 8.5 to 5.3
HDL - 0.86 to 0.95
Tri - 1.2 to 0.7
HDL/TC Ratio - 11.5 to 7
Just had a consultation with specialist. No signs of CVD but because of family history I had genetic testing for FH, results back in January so will update when results back.
Specialist increased dosage to 40mg atorvastatin to get my levels lower. No signs of any side effects so all good so far.
Do these cholesterol levels need further treatment or are they okay? Aged 21
Abnormal high hcl cholesterol level
I am 87, and have been told that my cholesterol level is 4.5 units. Is that too high or too low?
My Cholesterol is not going down.
Help!! advice needed, total cholesterol levels 9.1!!
