It'll be interesting to see how that plays out in the courts but I would be very wary of "Health Impact News" because I think the website owner has a financial interest in discrediting current medical advice (and possibly a personal one): "Brian Shilhavy earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Bible/Greek from Moody Bible Institute in Chicago, and his Master of Arts degree in linguistics from Northeastern Illinois University in Chicago. I agree re credibility of ' Health Impact News' but the main point here is the fact that thousands are actually suing the pharmaceutical companies. This website is just reporting this information that is currently in the media all over the U.S. and starting to filter through to the UK.

It will be extremely interesting to see how this plays out, I doubt the pharmaceutical companies will admit liability as this will open flood gates to millions of claims across the world.

Something tells me it maybe an out of court settlement with a gagging clause.

Please link any more reputable sources. The ones I find in searches are self-published news releases by law firms like prweb.com/releases/lipitor-... and some sites that seem to republish the releases with minimal editing.

As I wrote, it'll be interesting how these court cases play out, but "in the media all over the US"? Not found that yet.

I am keeping my eye on the US law suits; generally, I do not like the idea of 'everybody suing everybody', but, how else can we get NICE to change its ways?
