Please go to GP and have blood test to check liver function.

This should be done on a regular basis for anyone taking statins.

if your not getting on with statins like me try niacin it has worked for me and my family my lipid consultant and my cardiac consultant has told me to use niacin no horrible side effects like the statins

I know that the yellow patches are seen in people with FH, but that they can occur in other people with lower lipid levels, so that is not entirely helpful! I wonder if they disappear when lipid levels fall, would that tie in with you taking statins at that time ? I know people do have them removed for cosmetic reasons.
