I worked and lived in Nigeria!, had a very hard time, very difficult to get good food!. Are you doing any research?

Where did you get this info? I was totally unaware that the Nigerian diet had special qualities. Presumably much of it is "organic" - ie. grown in people's back gardens or smallholding. I would have thought it would be better to let the Nigerians grow it for themselves and their neighbours instead of importing it, however, maybe there are some fruits or vegetables that we could grow here. Worth investigating. Let us hear more.

Hi,

Asia or Africa, people do grow vegetables in the back garden or in small farm or on the watering path. Where I come from my father (only had two meals a day!) used to grow vegetables along the watering path and sell it in the market to buy other food to feed us! In Nigeria what is grown is OK for local people. Not for export. When I was there I had to wash vegetables in Milton before I can use it!

Fruits like papaya, mango and pine apple very good. A full ripe pineapple will give a large glass of juice to drink without much effort. I did travel the country therefore I managed to get fruits from the farm, not vegetables as cleaning cooking was difficult. Orange fruit, the girl who sells it will remove the skin with a knife and give it to you to take the juice slowly and enjoy the fruit! you can buy boiled eggs, you have to remove the shell to eat it, fresh and good! Fresh fish, plantain, fried, yam, fish head very good food.

Asia or Africa, now days this people can have high cholesterol and high blood sugar level because of outside influence on food intake.

My mother is not here, I have to thank my mother for giving me good health for sixty years..

Food in any part of the world is good, not fast food!, in my younger days there were no BBQ, my grandmother put thing on the fire adter her cooking and gave us things to eat, boy they were good and pure. I ask my self this question why? am I here? Can I go back, vwery big NO,
