would it be possible to clarify yuor question? side effect from statin? you may need to reduce it or go for another type of statin.

I too had terrible muscle/joint pains until I reduced the dose from 80 to 10mg and I now have a CH level of 3.9 (I've been on it for exactly a year following a heart attack). I'm certain that doctors OVERMEDICATE, perhaps afraid that too little will not lower levels? Rosehip is a new one on me, I thought it was for vitamin C?

You see cholesterol is primary, after heart attack then it becomes secondary, inflammation is that you need to Maintenon, "Does your GP tell you this?"

NSAIDS,have left me with Heart Failure,and needing Open HeartSurgery!

I will not say that this will happen to everyone.........

but,

other NSAIDS I have used?Vyoxx...

.they were taken off the market because they also caused Heart damage to me..

in fact I read on the Internet that they had caused many heart attack deaths in the USA.

I then refused to take any more,

after my DR. examined me and found Heart Murmur,and beginnings of sticky valves,

now taking Naproxen has made the condition worse,

I was told they were miracle painkillers,

and indeed they really work much better than your average painkillers.

...but,with bad side-effects.

so,now I am back to pills that really leave me in lots of pain still,

but,I rest more,stay indoors more,just to ease the pain.

I came off Simvastatins and other statins,because they caused so much extra pain,,,,

I have written this story of my problems a few times,but,so many new people come in here with the worries about Statins and painkiller side effects,it is worth writing my story again....

I stopped taking ALL STATINS,I feel no worse,

so,I am waiting for the damage they made to my muscles and joints disappear?

I may wait forever....Pat ..
