Hi - I'm Kat, I study 2nd year Literature and Creative Writing at uni - having had a tumour during my first year of Sixth Form and short-term memory loss since then. I hope I can give any advice about uni application and encouragement to anyone who needs it :)

Hi Kat - Can I ask - what kind of support do you get from your course tutors etc with regard to your memory loss? Also, did you have to get a doctor's note to accompany your application or did you wait until you had started your course before you told anyone about this? Thanks so much.

Hi Alan, I got a Summary of Support Needs by booking an appointment with the pastoral care department at my uni. This was slightly time consuming, but given any serious condition you are likely to get guaranteed extensions for submission dates. Last year, as per my request, I had a member of staff help me out with organising my schedule, going over my workload for the weeks ahead so that I could block out when I could get things done.

Please read my post. This could really help you, and there is NO downside. Fenbendazole kills brain tumors. It crosses the blood brain barrier in a unique way. That used in concert with Temadar can save your life. Save you from surgeries and heartache. I hope this message finds you well. I'll check for a response each day. God bless
