Hi, im interested in hearing first hand experiences people have of working and having a facial disfigurement.

What jobs do people do?

Are there jobs people have experience of that were particularly good for someone with a disfigurement?

What disfigurement have u got mate I have one 2 an I’m struggling to get a job , an when i did have a job ppl would tell me I look like a pedo, ask have I had cancer all types of insults I can’t live with this shit any longer me

I have an extremely bad skin condition all over my face. I feel like if I perhaps worked outside and had less face to face time with people it would make life more bearable. People with my condition used to be sent to live on a leper island. I actually think this would be more humane than the current situation of being a de facto social leper that also needs go through daily humiliation.
