Come along and take a tour, find out about jobs and careers in the NHS including apprenticeships and volunteering opportunities, meet staff, see displays and demonstrations or meet our children’s entertainer!
Admission is free.
Ever thought about becoming a doctor, nurse, therapist, scientist or NHS manager?
Our Open Afternoon is a the perfect opportunity to find out about jobs in the NHS – everything from doctors, nurses, therapists, scientists, porters, managers or admin assistants.
There will also be information about apprenticeships, work experience placements and opportunities for volunteering.
You can visit our therapies department to see therapies in action; and an exhibition area where staff will be demonstrating what they do and showing films and images of procedures.

Careers lecture attendees are asked to meet in the main hospital reception ten minutes in advance of the start time, to be escorted to the lecture theatre in the Sid Watkins Building.
