We were so taken up with having a new carpet put in that I forgot to post for off-topic Friday. My apologies for posting now. I revisited my picture of a puffin, painting it in more vibrant colours. I think she needs a name. How does "Rhiannon" sound? Rhiannon was a fictional Welsh queen in Medieval literature, and may have been based on an older Celtic goddess. Puffins abound around Wales. Regarding this picture, I like the mischievous glint in her eye!

It is wonderful to have warmer feet, Sassy. We got as much insulation as we could. Now I am set to face the colder weather!!

Having grown up in North Wales near the coast , I have fond memories of the puffins and I also had a friend named Rhiannnon , so go for it . I think your painting is great and thank you for sharing !! Gill,,Mookie Fox.
