OMG what the heck is going on or rather not going on? You must be up for an award, the way you persevere to get your own diagnosis. Then poor Dad now with this Green Foot. I'm going to google it as I've never heard of it before. Stay strong JAS,stay strong.

Hi Squirrelsholt a week later have still not seen doctor .. But when i did see one last week on dads admittance doctor said district nurses should not of applied compression to stop blister should of just used clean dressing.

Doc said only did that so would not have to call most days to change dressings.

Green stuff is that popular bacteria pumo stuff.

I had no doctor attend my partner for months until I sent a strongly worded letter to say it was like he was forgotten, and since then I have had overwhelming support from nurses and care workers, even though we have to pay for everything ,but they have been admirable.

it always pays to put your concerns in writing because they have to reply, but if you just phone you can be overlooked.

Hi Secrets defo agree with you there ... usually I would but just not had energy have my own health conditions AND they been playing up.

Hi JeffAjaxSmith,

I'm so sorry to hear how critical the condition of your dad's foot has become. I can see how distressed this has made you, and I feel for your poor dad.

Thinking of you and sending very best wishes to you both.

Hi Callendersgal I would be surprised if we have nhs next year really THE nursing care truly sucks and this no communication and now you can’t read notes that use to be at end of beds.

Bed notes now are only put out when doctors due then duly removed when he’s gone.

Clearly nhs no longer like transparency BUT is no fun being totally in the dark when dealing with those who need extra care like my dad other Alzheimer’s Dementia suffers.

As to dad’s feet well he’s being discharged as medically fit BUT is toes don’t seem to of survived THE all purple but only on foot that was not green.

All be surprised if dad as toes in 6 months really
