Mutations
Prior to this medication I was on
Capecitabine
for a PIC3 mutation and prior to that Piqray. Does any one know what meds work to target both mutations simultaneously?

new meds
I am about to take
capecitabine
(Xeloda) and because of a mutation also about to take Neratinib (nerlynx). They really talk about nausea, vomiting, and diarrhea. Bad enough that I have to go in and make sure I’m not malnourished which is making me apprehensive about taking this medicine.

Stage 4 Breast Cancer I just started have had three rounds I feel so much better I was in horrible pain with this one. My second time around in two years . I hope they keep experimenting and have some positive news for triple negative. I had some fatigue but nothing I couldn’t handle sleep has returned

Capecitabine (Xeloda)
Tomorrow I start taking
Capecitabine
( Xeloda) a chemo drug. 3 x 150 twice a day. 2 weeks on 1 week off. I was wondering if any of you have been on this regime and have any tips for me. Many thanks.

A Wish Fulfilled, and a Legacy
This endeavor, called “Project Renewal,” recently updated the dosage label for the oral chemotherapy drug
capecitabine
(Xeloda) to make it more tolerable, and there will likely be more to come!

xeloda/Capecitabine question
I’ve been on xeloda for almost 5 mo now. 3x 500mg twice a day . One week on.. one week off. Wondered what schedules others are on. Also how often do you see onc and how often do you do bloodwork? So far xeloda seems to be working… which is great!! Just wondered about the timing etc! Thanks.

Trastuzumab Deruxtecan Extends Survival Over Chemotherapy for Patients With HER2-Positive Metastatic Breast Cancer
The trial included 608 patients randomly assigned (2:1) to either T-DXd or TPC (trastuzumab plus
capecitabine
or lapatinib plus
capecitabine
). The researchers found that patients had a median of two prior lines of systemic therapy (excluding hormone therapy) in the metastatic setting.

Only 3 precious days left in paradise snd I want to do it all..
I have found that the sea and sand take away the red blistery feet caused from
Capecitabine
… I will put some pictures below… I feel nostalgic for this beach where I had my home until one year ago and this beach which I walked swam at every day.

Safely Home From 7weeks in New Zealand
Cindy and Dan had decided to stay for 3 more weeks of summer fun…. but we had to go now since we had a time sensitive dog sitter at home AND most importantly being on a new med(
Capecitabine
) I needed to go home to scans and assessments.

As some of you know from my last couple of posts, I’m coming off the Ibrance/ Anastrozole cocktail and I have to choose between a trial, in which I will get served up either Piqray or
Capecitabine
/Xeloda. Or just go the
Capecitabine
way.

Strange 😱foot and hand side effects while on capecitabine/Xeloda.
I am a POC (son schooled me saying it means person of color — millennials!). Well I am a Black woman with MBC. I have had unusual horrible experiences while on Xeloda! Instead of getting blisters and burns on feet and hands the bottom of my feet are darkened turning the color black ⚫️and so are my hands

Update on the New Zealand Cyclone
I’m still very lucky to be on oral therapy… now
capecitabine
which I started just before I left on this trip in January. But enough about me when so many are really suffering… The cyclone hit on Feb13th causing almost unfathomable damage..

Hey everyone- I hope my message finds you as well as possible :-) I’ve not been on much, but thought I should give an update on my personal journey whilst on this medication. I personally know how important it is to hear of others experiences - the good and bad. After 3 cycles, my MRI showed a good

Capecitabine - hand and foot
I am about to start this treatment and know you can have a hand and and foot reaction. I I wonder if anyone can advise what’s the best cream to use with this? I’m in the UK. Thanks 💓
