Does anyone have neuropathy in arms and hands. I am numb to shoulders & and hands are numb and painful

Hi Carol...Sorry to hear you are in what sounds like alot of pain. I have a similar problem but just on the left arm and hand. It can be very painful fore as well. Especially if I don't take my Lyrics on time. How do you cope?

iT STARTED ABOUT 6 MONTHS AGO AND PROGRESSED SO FAST. WHEN IT STARTED IN MY FEET, IT TOOK ABOUT 10 YEARS TO PROGRESS OVER MY KNEES. i AM HAVING A HARD TIME ADJUSTING TO THE ARMS AND HANDS. I CAN NOT BELIEVE HOW MUCH HAVING IT IN YOUR HANDS AND ARMS AFFECTS YOUR DAILY LIFE. i CAN BARELY WALK WITH A WALKER BUT THIS HAND THING IS NOT A GOOD THING TO HAVE EITHER

Hi Carol75, I recently had surgery on my right side (the side unaffected by cancer) due to calcium deposits in my shoulder joint. I can empathize with you. Having impaired use of arms and hands is tricky when navigating daily tasks and routines. I hope you are able to get the assistance you need. Jennie

Do your fingers change colour in the cold. Mine do and I wonder whether this is Raynauds Syndrome or the neuropathy?

Hi Martino, Yes my arm and hand effected with neuropathy are more red in colour. In the cold it takes them forever to rewarm themselves. My fingers have changed a lot. lol.....oooopo
