Tinnitus ok

Hi me again.

It's now over 3 weeks since I had my 3rd Covid vaccine. My T has improved considerably; it's high pitched, faint and in the background which is great.

I'm also continuing with taking the Betahistine. I only take 1 tablet a day and this is enough to keep it under control until I see a specialist 👍☺ I tested coming off it and the T was considerably worse.

Thanks for reading x

Hi I am just looking into the possibility of trying Betahistine for my Tinnitus did it help you straight away & do you have to get it from your GP.

Thanks

Hi. Betahistine is not recommended for the treat of T. It really depends on the individual. It was prescribed by my GP to aid relief until I see a specialist.

Initially I didn't tolerate it at all well. It gave me severe liver pain and once I'd moved to 2 tablets per day (the prescription was for 3) it gave me daily migraines. I take milk thistle to help my liver.

I've never made it to 3 tablets a day.

Hope this helps x

Thanks for speedy responseYes I think that puts me of to be honest

My T is in the background today so maybe I should just pray that’s where it stays .
