Went to an Ent a few hours ago. He told me I have some sort of infection and prescribed antibiotics. I went to him for the first time 5 days ago right when my tinnitus started and asked him if that is the cause but he didn't really eplain. Will the tinnitus subside once the infection is cleared?

It might or it might not - we all react differently. Once the infection has subsided and your brain has got used to the T it could disappear- let hope it does!
