Does steroids cause pain in arm?

I am 80 years young and was diagnosed with GCA july 2019. I was started on 60 mg steroids and am now on 5mg. Since the diagnosis I lost my loved husband and also had cataracts removed from both eyes. Apart from feeling tired and no energy I have felt ok but now I have pain in my right arm from my elbow to shoulder. It stops me from sleeping but not bad during the day. Does anyone else have this problem? Would it be relalated to the steroids?

I would get checked out to make sure your ok.

Coming down off high dose of steroids can cause you be lathargic and sometimes low in mood.

Take care
