Pulsatile tinnitus

Hello there, my name is Federica and I have experiencing pulsatile tinnitus in the last month or so. I have trouble sleeping and it is getting very hard for me to focus and get on with my daily life.

I went to the GP few week ago and she gave me a nasal spray that didn't do much I have to say and now she prescribed me antibiotics. I am not sure this is the best way of action. I would like to be seen by a specialist if possible. I know that the NHS is under loads of stress at the moment due to the coronavirus and I don't mind going private.

Does anyone know of a specialist around Bristol?

Mr Axon in addensbrook Cambridge is an expert in pulsatile tinnitus or you should see a vascular consultant as it’s blood you can hear whooshing. A good website is whooshers.com/. Hope that helps
