Objective pulsating tinnitus at 4 years old continued....Update - I paid to see a private ENT consultant which cost £225 he could hear the noise we can hear from his ears however said it’s either coming from the veins in his neck OR could be something with his heart. Either way we were alarmed as I never expected this to be potentially his heart!!!! We have been referred to the children’s hospital and been told he will need to be seen in the next couple of weeks. I will keep this post updated... so worth paying the money if you can find the means luckily my family helped me out xx

A worrying time for you Sammyloux, but try to think positive. Whatever is causing that noise, your little boy will soon be in the right place to have it diagnosed and dealt with. His consultant is being cautious and thorough, which is absolutely the right thing to do but it's scary for a parent. Remember, there is always a possibility that your son has very noisy but normal veins. I really do hope that turns out to be the case.
