Hi

Can anyone advise on whether they help for tinnitus or at least provide some relief? Maybe help me get out more

For me, they made things worse. The key to my T management is habituation and the headphones made the world “silent” so the T seemed louder. Hope you find some relief.

Hi I recently bought a pair as I work in a noisy environment and to much noise makes me feel sick. I found them to be a god send as all I hear is what I want to hear and help me concentrate on something else

Depends what sets off your T or makes it worse.

My T is a constant high pitched tone, but can be made more intense by constant noise, like on a flight. On Saturday I had a 3 hour flight and bought noise cancelling ear buds at the airport. I found them to be fantastic and much better than passive ear phones or even my custom fitting ear plugs.

The other big advantage is not having to play your music at such a high volume to drown out the background noise.

Hi Emily- T makes me anxious and worry a lot. No one has complained that it makes T worse so may give it a go...

Thank you and HNY

Just seen this post now. Don't use noise cancelling headphones - for me it was the worst thing possible. Think about it, its noise cancelling properties are based on exterior noises, not the tinnitus in your ear - for me this removed my tinnitus habituation and made my tinnitus worse
