I have been taking Sertraline on and off for the past 2.5 years I have had tinnitus. I don’t think my tinnitus is impacted by sertraline directly but my sleep is effected which I suspect does impact volume of tinnitus. I sleep less soundly on Sertraline so melatonin and sleeping pills have been necessary. My tinnitus tends to fade in to the background on days when I am well rested. Sertraline has helped me cope with the tinnitus and work stress. I tend to decrease Sertraline during periods of less stress. I also have some seasonal depression so fall and winter are seasons I rely more on Sertraline. I find counseling and Accupuncture to help with lessening the burden of tinnitus.
