Neuromod . Two weeks on.

Folks. Thought that a two week report on the device would be useful.

I have used it everyday as instructed. Most of the days have been 30mins with several being double session taking me to the maximum of 60mins. I have a job and two young kids so it is fitting the use around my life. To be fair, it has been not too onerous as I put on the device and do my e mails or read my book.

I'll mention the two main areas of most concern first. Does it work and did it make your T worse. I have not notice any drop in the level of my T. It is early days so I remain optimistic. It would be unfair to measure success or failure at this early stage. I plan to continue the 30 to 60 mins a day for several months to come.

I have hyperacusis in my left ear on top of the T. I am feeling increased sensitivity to noise in that ear. Now, it could be the Neuromod of perhaps my attention is more focused on it. I have considered this and am fairly sure something has changed. They informed me that this may happen. There is a school of thought that if they tell me this then I convince myself that it has happened. Either way it is not significant.

The product is easy to use. I have charged the Headphones once. The actual Neuromod device is still showing a full charge. This is good news as it is much longer than expected.

The sound generated is not too annoying. It is a bit like "elevator" music. You don't really focus on it. It is just "there" and I can read or do emails. The "tingling" on my tongue is so mild that I don't notice it.

Conclusion. Very easy to use, portable. Finding 30mins is doable.

Does it work? Too early to tell.

Has it made it worse?. Not really but I remain cautious.

I hope that this short report helps in some way. I will of course give further updates. Please feel free to ask any question.

Wishing you all peace and quiet.

Ade

Hi Ade. Yes like you say, bit to early to say if it works. Everyone's T is a unique thing to the individual(reaction etc etc).

Did they give you any sort of time frame. Six months, one Year or longer?

They said that I should start to feel benefit after 3 to 4 weeks. However, for some it is a bit longer.

All quite vague to be honest.

Just to hijack Ade's thread, I would endorse everything he's said about Lenire so far. I'm 2wks in as of today, the device is easy to use and doesn't cause any discomfort. I haven't seen any worsening of my T, which several other users have reported, but equally I haven't seen any real improvement as yet - still too early to say I guess. My T was reasonably well behaved in week 1 and wasn't really causing me any difficulties, but I've been back to normal over the last week - good days, bad days.
