Can’t sleep!

I just can’t sleep! For 2 days now ! Sleeping during the day is hard as well, I cannot drowned out the sounds and I have tried everything I could think of . Melatonin gets me to fall asleep but not for long, I have white noise, fans, still nothing and now I’m hearing people talking and I know this sounds crazy lol because it is crazy! If anyone has any suggestions please share them with me . I know it’s stress that triggers my T. I have tried sleeping pills and I wake up with a horrible headache every time I take them .my mom is dying of cancer so I know that is making my stress levels higher than usual. Any help will be appreciated thank you

Yes I hope and pray for a cure as well but meanwhile we need to find something to help us cope with it and not focusing on the sounds. Night time is the hardest for me because it’s so quite .

I totally understand what you are going through. This is a sad time for you. Stress makes my T much worse. When my T started I used medication, sleeping pills, antidepressants and diazepam, with yoga, a new hobby, lots of walking, counselling, a sound machine with pillow speakers and music from an iPod. I still use my sound machine every night and I now have hearing aids which help. During a recent relapse I have used amitriptyline to help with sleep and antidepressants, plus the usual relaxation techniques, lots of breathing exercises, lots of walking and sitting in the fresh air listening to the birds and nature. There is no easy answer, it takes time and effort. Good luck Suzie

I also had trouble sleeping and sleeping pills gave me a bad headache too in the morning. I am on 1mg of Xanax a day

And CBD Oil it helps with my anxiety and helps lower the noise . CBD I take is

1500 Mgs you do not get high from it

But it does help with the T and the anxiety from it

All the best 🙏🏻
