I hate this

So theres no cure for this ? .. I hate this its gonna drive me insane. With all thats known so far whats exactly happening and is there anything that can be done, surgery .. implants etc .. My right ears the culprit and it can be difficult to deal with at times. Pitch goes up n down but never away. What do ENT docs say? What do MRIs say ? Is this a brain thing or an actual inner ear unfixable issue ? I really do hate this. Are there any doctors in here that can give real insight here or is it just ppl with this issue tellin their story..

Did you try TRT ? Is with alot of help and I can say indeed that over time terapy the volume of your t is very quiet. You have to search for It to hear It.

Is requiring time and dedication I know but you will have an answer after all. Also wait for Mute Button this summer. You never know. Dont give up! For each problem in this world is a solution out there. Stay focus and wait for the best! The best is yet to come!

P.S. CBD oil can be very good as well. At least with sleep and anxiety if is not making your t quiter.

I second that for the CBD Oil it does help

With T and anxiety and sleeping !

Acceptance is a very big part of having and dealing with T in your life.

Also low dosages of Diazepam works to quiet the volume of T at least for me it does.

You could have been run over by train or something, and well, or simply slip and hit your head and stay imobilised with half brain functioning.

Things happen, it is never safe, nothing is safe, and no there is no cure. We will all lie but as long we live try to live it best you can.

you will accept it as permanent, and you will adjust your life to it. it is disaster that can struck anyone therefore, in a time you will adjust. you will live as long as you can, if you are strong you might get used to it. important is that you love undelying couses like depression anxiety, social support, jaw problems/neck problems.

It might make it better, there are meds like Riluzol that help calm down brainstorm, and benzos with need, melatonin for sleep. Sleep is crucial!

I know how hard tinnitus can be. Though I've only had it for 6 months so far, the first 3 or 4 months were complete hell for me. I'm not a doctor, but I've seen MANY of them :D and I feel I have some insights. I hate to disagree with people, but I know that in many cases tinnitus CAN improve, because I have myself as evidence.

It's definitely a brain thing, but it can be triggered by a problem with the ear such as loss of hearing (due to hair cell damage), infections, or impacted wax. Sometimes even with the underlying cause is treated, the tinnitus doesn't go. This is because parts of the brain's auditory cortex have physically changed to compensate for the problem - nerves responsible for hearing fire more strongly and simultaneously and the sound you hear is the sound of those nerves! If you then have a negative reaction to this sound (as we all do, it would be impossible not to) the brain's limbic system (responsible for 'fight or flight' responses) gets involved and accentuates the sound.

Because it's to do with the brain, it's very hard to treat and very hard to predict. Mine was caused by an ear infection that cleared up 6 months ago, but the annoying, screechy tinnitus seemed to go on and on. I can still hear it now as I type this, but it has massively reduced in volume. This is because the brain CAN change over time. Just as it readjusted to the initial drop in hearing, so it can readjust again if and once the physical causes can be treated. This is what the ENT doctors and MRI scans will determine.

Anyway, I hope this was useful (sorry for the length!) and I wish you the very best.
