Years of mild T then 7 months ago it spiked. Just started to get used to it, and two days ago bang it’s gone even louder. Both ears are screaming and I don’t no were to turn. My doctor has no answer and just refers me to the hospital and I only ever get to see the audiologist which sorry but is a complete waste of time. God only knows were I go from here. This cannot go on my head is just one BIG scream. Any last suggestions please.

Nic my T is way past sound relaxation it’s a mad scream noise. I have my hearing aids turned up full and even that doesn’t help. Yes it used to, but this last spike has just ripped my heart out.

I am new to all this and I do know what you feel like. The only hope I feel is Julian Cowan Hill, I've been watching on YouTube.

I sincerely feel for you man. Mine is a freaking horror show too.......Sadly the rest of the world believe tinnitus is tinnitus and millions of people live with it and are all fine yada yada yada. It doesnt help our cause. Only serves to make us more isolated and depressed. I’m sorry. I hope you find some relief.

It seems like hypertension to me. Ask your doctor for some advice on medication such as beta blockers or others to treat hypertension. Or, try a sedative such as prescribed by your doctor. Keep trying and I know you will find relief. Mine is caused by my corticosteroid inhaler, which I will slowly wean off of. It has caused hypertension in my body, high anxiety.
