Cancerous mole/spot - detection

Hello, I'm new to the forum.

Just a quick question. I had a small spot/mole that formed on the side of my neck. I tried to squeeze it but no puss came out - which left me a little puzzled. It was kind of reddish/whitish and had a crusty feel to it.

Anyway, I ended up picking it off and it hasn't come back (this was a couple of weeks ago).

So I have a couple of questions:

1. Does the fact that it hasn't come back mean I have nothing to worry about? (I've read contrasting information about this)

2. What can you do to check it's ok? Are there any standard tests which can easily find out? (Blood tests etc??)

Anyway, I'd be really grateful for any clarity on this. Left me a little paranoid!

Regards,

Tonbry

I would say no worries unless it returns, in which case take it along to your GP!
