Urticaria

Please can anyone give me any advice re treating Urticaria, my daughter 28 yr old teacher has had very severe rash for over a month now, we had to go to a&e as she was getting swelling around her mouth, she had 3 day course of steroids but it is back again,? where we go from here she is getting quite distraught and is unable to work at the moment, we are all really worried about. Has anyone had similar experience? what worked !!!!
