Hi I recently noticed that if I lay on my left side I have pain in left upper quadrant. It has been going on for about 4 weeks and pain is gone when I move to my back or the other side. I am thinking “oh crap” maybe it is my spleen.
Anyone else have this.
I do have my appt with GPNext week and liver doc in May

Hi Mary,
I tend to have more pain in my left upper quadrant than my right. A pain just off centre up under my ribs and under my ribs from my back/left hand side. When I lie on my back in bed it really pulls along the front. Luckily I sleep on my stomach and it doesn’t stop me sleeping.
When I speak to Drs they are baffled as to what it is. I have had this since November 2021 almost constantly. Still having some investigations.
