I think my husbands acites is back is there a nurse I can speak with as the GP is not open until tomorrow and it takes ages to get thru , thank you

HI Moux1, I totally appreciate the challenges sometimes faced in getting a GP appointment but your GP or liver specialist would be best placed to speak to with regards to your husband's ascites. This is because the British Liver Trust does not have access to your NHS records and is unable to give direct medical advice. It must be a really stressful time for you - the nurse helpline can certainly give general support and information.
