Why are my in yellow colour ? I have this for more than a decade , LFT results are also good.
There is a possibility that these are manifestations of Gilbert's syndrome. Ask your doctor to rule out other causes and it may make sense to do a genetic test for Gilbert's syndrome. It raises the level of bilirubin and the eyes may appear yellowish.
My bilirubin levels have fluctuated over the years, the first time they were raised my GP told me to cut out fats and oils.
In fact, I have nothing more to add to what I have written. Gilbert's syndrome is characterized by fluctuations in the level of bilirubin in the blood. This is a genetic disorder. It is advisable for you to talk to your doctor about this and do a genetic test for Gilbert's syndrome to rule out or confirm this condition.
Hi Bobby. It's actually against forum rules to post photos for members to offer opinions and lighting can distort reality. It is more important to see your doctor who can examine your eyes thoroughly and arrange necessary blood tests and medication as required. Don't be embarrassed, just get professional advice. Good luck.Laura
Thank you.
You're welcome!
Hi Bobby,
It is against our forum rules to post photos asking for medical interpretation so we have removed it.
Please see your own doctor for assessment if you think you may have jaundice.
Kind regards.
