I have hemochromatosis and cirrhosis. I just had my 6 month visit and left feeling very positive, due to diet changes and phlebotomy my iron levels are managed and labs look awesome. Dr lowered my meld score to 7 which is fabulous however next day I got a call that the ultrasound found a lesion on my liver, my doctor makes it sound routine like it’s just a fatty deposit or similar but I can’t help but worry some. Getting an MRI done on Tuesday so hoping for good news.

Lesion detected
Although it is odd to use the word 'good' in this kind of situation it is good that you are getting the proper followup. Hopefully, as you say, it will be nothing but if it does prove to be something that needs dealing with then at least it has been spotted early and that makes a huge difference.
Keep us posted.

...... and great they are acting so quickly. 😀
Wow that's big 🤣🤣👣
Oh dear 🤦♂️😅
Happened to me. Turned out to be a mark where my gallbladder had been removed. Had an mri, no problem. Hope the same happens for you. All the best and congrats on all the other results!
Oh bless you!! Im so sorry, just to let you know dont worry too much itll make you ill. Ive had the same thing, the lesions were spotted about 5 years ago. Had a couple of MRI's and ultrasounds once or twice a year (apart from during covid). They havent changed shape or anything so theyve told me to forget about them. They just check once in a while. Hope that makes you feel a bit better. It does make you panic when you first hear. x
Hey 13 1/2! 😁I can relate to your situation…not the big feet though!
I have hemochromatosis as well. Cirrhosis was only detected after I felt a lump on my liver.
I had a CT scan and MRI. They found a 15mm lesion along with cirrhosis.
Dr said it was nothing to worry about. Bloods are great was well. Healthy diet and exercise.
Please keep us posted.
All the best. Cheers.
Had lesions on my lungs 9 years ago. Dr said it wasn't anything to worry about.
Results of my MRI with contrast were indeterminate. We will repeat the test in December
