Hello all, I've been chugging away at dr's visits with primary care, internal medicine and awaiting a second opinion from a new gastro/hepatologist for the past 6 months. I am here requesting professional and/or informed opinions as to what may be associated and what may be causing my symptoms.
About a year and a half ago I was experiencing 'lipomas' in my biceps, I went to a dermatologist who thought they were probably lipomas but that I'd need to see a primary care dr to biopsy to know for sure what it is, because it's movable my dr has insisted it's not necessarily a concern.
Accompanying these lipomas(though almost a year later) is lymphatic inflammation or swelling/pressure type of pain in lymph vessels in my arms legs and abdomen, I use the term vessels because it is not similar to the symptoms experienced in my armpit where I am experiencing persistent swelling in a node.
Upon experiencing abdominal pain last july I went to the er and had a chronic hepatis panel done that came back negative, I had been told that I had been exposed several years before and brought this up to the dr. They also described symptoms that I am experiencing down to infection of the lymphatic system and my liver. I had a chronic hepatitis panel done and came back negative.
Which brings me to discuss my liver, the gastro ordered an ultrasound that revealed an enlarged liver and polyp(6mm too small to operate) in my gallbladder, then ordered hepatic function which revealed high total bilirubin and high indirect bilirubin, normal alt and ast which insists no liver damage.
CRP and ESR test for inflammation were done and came back normal, which was alarming as I definitely feel my lymph system and pain in vessels throughout. I requested a second opinion and started the journey with my internal medicine dr.
He ordered this list:

Today my portal records updated with a diagnosis of:
Hypercalcemia and Elevated serum globulin levels.
My pain in my abdomen and lymph system persists with joint pain.
So, any idea's as to what I can expect? Supplements or otc medicine I could take?
Someone tell me I won't be dead in 6 months..
My first gastro tried to tell me I have gilbert's but says the genetic testing to confirm or deny 'is not indicated'. Do I have to pay $400 out of my own pocket to cross that off the list? Because I do not think I have gilbert's. Though I would welcome a benign diagnosis, there are too many symptoms left unexplained.
