Pale stool for 6 days

Brief recap. About two yes ago I had elevated enzymes. I had a US that cleared me with no fat on the liver or scarring. My bloods returned to normal and I had a blood test about a yr ago and still normal. I started working out right after the bad blood results and have keep to it. I’m now in the greatest shape of my life and my strength is increasing by the day. The last six days I’ve noticed my stool being light brown to yellowish. At first I passed it off as nothing to big of a deal but it has stayed consistent. I’m really trying to quell my health anxiety but it’s hard to ignore. I met with my dr a week ago and all my vitals and organs seemed to be right. He didn’t want to do blood work due to my intense workout regime, but now I’m feeling it may be necessary. No jaundice or dark urine. Am I freaking out for no reason?

Also I’m not sure if me getting away from red meats and having a protein rich diet might affect it as well

Can't comment on the original post, but just replying to this one. I mostly don't eat red meats and am eating recommended amounts of protein and it isn't having this effect on my "output" so to speak!

Liver related pale stools are caused by lack of bike salts in your excrement. I think that looks more like sun bleached dog turds. Yellow or light brown sounds diet related. Carrots and tumeric both cause light yellow dookies. What have you been eating? Change it for a day and see if your dookies go back to normal. If you're taking a colored preworkout, that might do it too.

I had white stools, my blood test was deranged massively and it was my gallbladder infected and large gallstones. Still waiting for removal. On emergency list but due to Covid waiting in pain every day.

Can u take pain killers for the pain?

in reply to ling

I did and regretted it massively. My blood pressure went down to 67/47 and I was sick all day long. My liver couldn’t take it. I should have been on the operating table and as far as I’m concerned.

Sorry to hear that, but any idea why the BP plunged like that?

in reply to ling

Can only guess that it was the deranged liver function due to gallbladder stones in bile duct and infection. I felt that I was dying and I wasn’t far off trust me. I passed the stones and only knew because I had to do a stool sample due to it being white And there were at least 5 stones. I still have pain daily but not like it was for the 3 months I was in agony. I never thought I’d say I can’t wait for an operation. Having said this at the moment I’m not sure what it would take because even at a BP as above and being sick and agony it wasn’t enough to get it removed. Pre Covid I’d imagine I’d be writing this without an infected gallbladder and large stones!

matthewjr I can related to yellowish stools as I was recently diagnosed with Gilbert’s Syndrome (high indirect bilirubin) so when it is excreted it’s obvious in stools. I tend to have a tint or jaundice in my skin and eyes which is what prompted me to the ER in the first place. Hope u figure it out.
