Deteriorated even further

My partner is in ICU and has been since last Wednesday when he couldn’t breath. They put him in an induced coma to treat a chest infection. He had an X-ray yesterday which showed his chest is clear but his liver is so severely damaged and it’s attacking his kidneys so he now is on dialysis. The doctors have said that he has a slim chance of survival and me and his family are devastated. We hope that the doctors are wrong but we are now anticipating the bad news at any point now. My heart is broken. I’ve been through hell the last nine weeks and I prayed and hoped that he would pull through. I now have to attempt at rebuilding my life without him and be strong for my son. 😢😢😢😢

I can't even express how sad I am for you. There really are no words. Some others have offered some great advice as far as remembering the days you had as a family and while it will hurt so bad for a while hopefully one day you will be able to remember him and just smile.
