Blotchy palms, tingling?

I have blotchy palms/fingers, but not sure why. I am menopausal and overweight, so wonder if it could be connected to either of those.

However, drink quite a lot too, so am obviously concerned in case my liver is damaged. However when I google red tingly palms, the results suggest that the blotches don't tend to cover the entire palm and fingers.

Do any of you have experience of this symptom, but no other obvious symptoms?

It is intermittent, eg often worse after washing hands or if I'm warm. Sometimes it's a bit itchy, sometimes tingly, sometimes slightly burny.

A year ago, blood tests showed cholesterol a bit high, plus the following liver results -

Alt 58.1

Gamma 34

Albumin 43.9

Alkaline Phosphatase 77

Globulin 28.4

Bilirubin 9.9

Total protein 72.9.

Any thoughts? Thanks so much.

Hi and welcome to our forum,

Whilst we appreciate you are worried, we do ask in our pinned community rules not to post test results. This is because reference ranges vary between laboratories. There is also no one on the forum medically qualified to safely advise you.

Here is a link to a useful publication 'Liver disease tests explained'

We would suggest that you consider seeing your GP for an examination of your symptoms, if you are overweight and do drink quite a lot of alcohol, the GP may be able to send you for additional testing such as an ultrasound scan.

Keep us posted
