I have just had my phone appointment downgraded again, to NO appointment. Has anyone else had this? I, obviously don't mind in the current circumstances, but last year I was downgraded to annual from 6 monthly appointments, so I'm feeling a bit peeved just now.

Can't even send you out for a long wait?
Not me but my ticker defib promised appointment within a few weeks from Nov19 never happened. So keep taking the tablets. Innit for the long haul 🤔
My husband's defib appointment also canceled but has to send a reading so not that bad.
I haven't needed monitoring yet. As with my mild cirrhosis a new November diagnosis of Atrial fibrillation is also mild. They gave me beta blockers in prep for a kick start defib as first course of action which he said would be within a matter of weeks.
It does mean meds wrong 1.25 half what they should b🤔

That’s a bummer 👎. Would have thought they could have squeezed un a telecon so things can’t be good. My next clinic isn’t until the 24th - no contact as yet....

You know exactly how I'm feeling about your appointment delay and cannot explain exactly how truly disappointed I'm feeling and I do hope you have the strength to keep up your fight! No one should suffer as much pain as you and Lynne 24/7

I will have to follow "procedure", which is impossible just now, as our GP surgeries are closed, and all resources are redirected to fighting covid-19.
My time will come when things get back to normal........whenever that will be, God knows. The wheels are still turning though, as my GP text me asking for blood pressure readings, and as they were a bit high, he put me on yet another med. I sometimes feel like a maraca 😁😁😁

Funny you should ask but my local hospital called me this morning to cancel my 6 week appointment but not able to make a new one even though they have also asked for bloods.
Apparently the secretary will contact at some stage! I know they are under pressure but they still need to talk to their patients.
Mayfield just need to be patient lol
