My son is 18 and autistic and doesn’t get the self exclusion, cleanliness thing. Nor not being able to sleep in the same bed.

He stopped school yesterday. When will I know if he is virus free as we are both not doing self exclusion together

Hi cammeag, it’s so very difficult to Attempt to explain to someone who doesn’t understand isn’t it!

I may be wrong and will be happy to be contradicted but From the guidelines, it is 7 - 12 days.

If you can’t stop him, you are going to have to be extra vigilant possibly wearing gloves, extra cleaning and most of all him in proximity to your face for this period.

Good luck
