Swollen stomach Fatty Liver

I have fatty liver and I've been having pain on that area.

My stomach is swollen and I also have bad gas, could this be connected?

Can I suggest with any new symptom you discuss it with your doctors, particularly if it is worsening or persistent.

Fatty liver can be caused by a host of issues, one thing I have honed in on is resetting my gut by taking a good probiotic, and getting plenty of fiber, if the gut isn’t healthy, usually the liver isn’t either, I also take a good stomach acid supplement to help aid in digestion, as we need sufficient amounts to help with bile absorption

Losing weight that way will cure the vast majority of people who have a fatty liver.

I too have developed swelling of upper and lower abdomen + legs ankles and feet. Seen by specialist recently who asked me to see my GP for assessment and observation. I may possibly benefit from a small dose of diuretics, apparently there is one suitable that has no adverse effect on the liver., but does need to be monitored. The unfortunate thing is my appointment with GP was cancelled !!., so I now have to arrange a telephone consultation, not to sure how that will go, but hopefully get there in the end eh 🤔.
