Newbie for heamochromatosis

Hi all

Have just joined the forum to try and get some advice on diet for hemachromatosis, any and all advice welcome :)).

I can’t but try the search section in the top right of the screen and see what comes up.

I’m sure there are people around.

All I know is that you have both the heamochromatosis genes and your body stores too much iron.

The whole website is a goldmine of information covering all aspects of having liver disease, questions to ask medics and loads more. It is well worth learning all you can about your condition so you can make the most of all consultations and ensure you are doing all you can to manage your own care and condition. Don't just leave this in the hands of medics, sometimes you have to poke, prod and push to ensure you are getting the appropriate care, testing and monitoring.
