Need advise. I have grade 3 fatty liver from alcohol I think. Was certainly a drinker. Binge one at that over many years decades. My cap score was 328. I've not drank for 1 year now. I've lost abit of weight by cutting bk on unhealthy food. Does anyone know if stopping drinking and watching what I eat and losing abit of weight will have reduced the fat in my liver. And will is continue to come off over time. I'm lost with it

I am in the a similar boat to you.
'stopping drinking and watching what I eat and losing abit of weight will have reduced the fat in my liver.'
Thats pretty much all we can do. Get to a good healthy weight, eat right, low carbs no sugar or alcohol and hopfully the lard will come off the liver.
Click on my previous posts and youll see the advice given to me and the action i am taking.
Hi Chris. Yes as mentioned several times in your previous post, a healthy diet, excercise and no more booze will very much help to repair at least some of the damage to your liver and regain a healthy weight.
Best of luck to you

Hi Laura. I'm just concerned as the reading is very high. I'm worried it can't reverse
Stick with it Chris, it's the best thing you can do to help your liver etc improve. I can understand your concerns so why not have a chat with your GP who could arrange for some tests to be done to see how you are doing to put your mind a rest?
