A wee update pre Christmas

Evening troops.

Tomorrow I’m in for a follow up scope to see if I need any more bands. Extremely anxious as I do not handle them well and it will be Friday 13th!

All being well though that should be me for a while. Fingers crossed.

Hope everyone is holding up and the stresses of the Christmas time madness isn’t having too much of an impact.

This will be the first Christmas I haven’t drank since I was a teenager.

I really hope tomorrow goes well for you.

Well don't on abstaining from alcohol, you should be really proud of yourself. Take care Lynne

Snap. 👍

That's why we've had rain. Mind you, it would snow if I started singing. Goodness knows how I made the school choir, must have blended in 😂

I got chucked out for miming. What a pantomime that was. 🎶🙄

I hope all goes well and you don’t need banding. Stay strong with your sobriety. I care!

Good luck Xen 🤞

Morning Xen

Please accept this we bit of advice and wipe this Friday the 13th silly superstition from your mind as it's only another new day, plus the date cannot be all bad as I passed my driving test on the same day almost 50 years ago and I'm still here driving you all nuts! 🤣🤣🤣

Now start thinking good positive thoughts and less of this nonsense!

Here's one of my hugs with a little sunshine smile 🌞 to spur you on!

Love Trish❤

PS - I forgot to wish you a Merry Christmas 🎄 with much happiness for many years ahead 😘

It's funny how we get worked up about a date. My husband's first appt with the transplant team was on Friday 13th. I was nearly ringing to delay it, really glad I didn't as all went well and he got a transplant quickly. Friday the 13th is lucky for us now.

Great news that this will be your first dry Xmas, well done. Hope the scope and banding goes well.

Hi Xeno, I ve had quite a few, but I now insist on sedation. I tried it without once......never again.

I've got one on Monday, but might have to cancel if I can't shift this cough and cold. Maybe it'll be cheaper in the new year sales😊😊😊

Good luck honey 👍. They are horrible. Remember, nothing bad will happen and signal to stop if it gets too uncomfortable.

You'll have a much better Christmas without the hangover... cheaper too.

🤗🤗🎄🥳🥳

Thanks all. The day has arrived.

I seems certain i'm in for more bands so will just have to get on with it. I've never thought i could tell them to stop, might discuss this if i remember when i'm there.
