Change of user name

Hi everyone, I just changed my user name to Jaycee19. This being my name and the year of my transplant.

It was as you know Blackpearl as I used to love Pirates of the Caribbean, which matched my picture of Jack Sparrow. I used to find some folks write to me saying hi Pearl, Lol. So, I decided to change it for my own photo and the new user name.

Love to all. Xxx have a great day.

<joke> re real name - of course jaycee 😁

Hi Jaycee 19

I've tried changing mine too last week but for some reason I'm struggling as I'm totally useless at IT and keeping one good friend it seems who I never intended to upset!'

Maybe someone will advise me on what I'm doing wrong !

Oh well.i must start cutting the Hawthorne Hedge which I total hate as I get scratched to bits !

Bye for now 😊

Trish

in reply to

Hope you can sort your user name out soon Trish. Xxx

Why did you have a problem? Richard is very good at IT stuff you could ask him.

Hope you did not get scratched too much.

Jaycee

in reply to

Shattered is not the correct word here, and scratched arms yes! I even cut the opposite side of the hedge which is 35 meters long so times that twice ! The opposite side backs onto a country lane which took some blummin clearing up! Barrow after Barrow after wheel barrow , I'm so glad I'm fairly strong and fit! 😁😁😁

I'm now about to cut the lawn! 😣! I bet youd not ask now !

Byeeeeeee Jaycee19

in reply to

You are amazingly fit Trish xx

in reply to

I'm now having a break as I've only cut half of the lawn and swept all around the outside of our lodge which was built around 1826 as part an old hospital built in 1726 by Lady Catherine Herbert for poor families.

Oh well break over, more lawn to cut 😁! I'm then going to blow one of these 🥳 before walking the dogs a mile or two!!!! Lol

in reply to

I hope you are not too sore in the morning with all your efforts today. Jaycee

in reply to

I hope not too! 😊

in reply to

Shame you’re not up to all that isn’t it Jaycee? 😑. Ahem.

in reply to

I have been, pre transplant, I jumped out of a plane for a stand alone parachute jump, (non tandem) twice, both times for age concern. Sadly it is all out of my reach now.

I am applauding Trish from a distance.

When it comes to gardening though. I would rather nail my eyelashes to the coffee table. Hate all gardening.

So I could/would never do all that Trish does LOL... she really is awesome, and ought to change her name to Wonder Woman !! She is incredible.

in reply to

Well done you! Some day you may be up to your adventures again! 👍

in reply to

Thank you Twosmiles/Miles for your earlier 'like' which I did appreciated.....

Blummin heck Jaycee can I appoint you as my Marketing Manager as your blummin ACE at blowing my trumpet 🎺🎺🎺😁😁😁

Now what would you say if I told you I dislike gardening ....... Yes I really do ! However I also dislike a messy garden too, so I do it and for so reason enjoy it in the end and feel great afterwards as I can sit peaceful with my feet up and appreciate my hard work and do lots of these 😊😊😊😊. I hate ironing and cleaning too but I do it! 😣😣😣! I'd rather be on a sailing boat or lying on a sandy sunny beach anytime .

Anyway may I applause you Jaycee for your 2 stand alone sky dive jumps for a age concern, you really are a good soul. Did you have to train for these first ? Do they still allow non expert jumpers to do this as my documentation from the parachute Association didnt offer it!

Love The Shropshire Star ❤

in reply to

I had to get a letter from my doctor and I had training as well. Plus a written test. LOL. Could not do it now.. love your new name xxx

in reply to

I too had to have a letter signed off by my GP! No written test phew !'plus as you know mine's tandem do I'm just praying my flying partner in crime is someone with a SOH who likes to FLY ........

Glad you like new name ! 😊

in reply to

You will be awesome, do not worry. I am sure afterwards you will say at once, “I want to do it again”. For sure! Enjoy the day..

in reply to

Oh my Jaycee do you really think so with my fear of heights, I cannot even walk over a bridge with slats below my feet! Lol!

However, you've just made me think back to all the times I went on construction sites and did manage to go up in a Cherry Picker to a height of three floors to inspect a new roof installation had been constructed and fitted correctly! The funny bit was my fingers had turn blue whilst holding on to the cherry picker railings, I also tried my best being a women not to show my fear and wobbly knees to the men standing beside me, especially as I was in charge of the build project!

I'm now trying to programme my brain to source this inner strength for the dive! 😉 x

in reply to

Yes I do, I know you will be fine. I am also afraid of heights. They did a tv interview with me. Along with a newspaper article. But when it was over, I said I want to do it again. It was such an awesome experience. One which you will never forget. For such a good cause will make it all the more special. I believe in you. 😘 xx

in reply to

Wow! A tv celebrity! Amazing ! You must feel proud, are you on YouTube?

in reply to

LOL absolutely not, I am a reclusive type of person and hated every moment. It was a good cause so I tolerated it. They had me sat on the top of a huge removal van which I owned at the time. I was so scared. My neck looked dreadful. On a par with E.T. Dreadful... LOL

in reply to

It's so funny when we hate certain photos of ourselves!'

I must say you've made me feel a little at ease with you also being scared of heights and you still jumped for a good cause ! Good on ya!'😁

in reply to

Hi Trish

I changed mine like this:-

I went to profile then in the settings cog. At the top

Then general which reads email address user name password.

Second one down was user name click on that

Then I Just typed in a new one.

If it comes up with an error it means someone has that name.

Hope that helps

Jaycee

in reply to

Cheers Jaycee, Will go a try shortly ! X

in reply to

Hi Jaycee

I've managed to change my name but your info didnt work unfortunately! However after travelling in and out of numerous community headings I found a second way into my account which listed numerous things I could change! So my IT skills are not that bad after all😊😊😊 lol!

ShropshireStar

I'm not sure how long it takes for the changes to kick in?

Welcome to your new rebirth name. I much prefer this one to the old one. The old one reminded me of a drunken old soak. Not like you at all, princess Jaycee.

in reply to

Thank you my friend for the idea in the first place. Xx

in reply to

I liked the old one Jaycee but that’s just me 😀

Hi

I too like your new name, it's got a nice ring to it. Love and hugs Lynne xxxx
