I thought some of you maybe interested to read that I emailed the administration team today to notify them of my intentions to do a Sky Dive to raise funds for the British Liver Foundation Trust ! My email requested advice on how to go about this and within minutes the administration team emailed over the trusts fund raising contact details.
Stage 1
I've now received from the trust there recommended Sky Dive Airfield run by Skyline at Whitchurch in Shropshire which is not far from myself 😂😂😂
Before I'm in a position to book the dive I have to complete 2 British Parachute Association applications. The first is a medical questionnaire which is to be approved by my GP, the second medical questionnaire has to be approved by Skyline themselves before I'm accepted for the jump! 😁
Tomorrow all being well I shall be outside my medical practice at 8am to arrange appointment to see my GP with applications in hand😂😂😂
Stage 2 Book date for dive
Stage 3 Start fund raising!
Stage 4 DIVE ! 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😆😆
Stage 5 Celebrate if still alive and none of this 💩💩💩💩
I thought I send this note out now to give Alfredthegreat fingers a rest from replying to more of his Ibuprofen correspondence of today!,😂
I'll updated you all on my future adventure if my GP gives approval which I cannot see being a problem !,

None urgent appointment to see my GP for approval to dive is not until the 1st of July which just happens to be my birthday😁😁
Wow! you don't hang about do you!! Think you're very brave I'd want a general anesthetic before doing a sky dive and the worlds biggest cushion to land on Hope all goes well at the GP's tomorrow for you. I don't know about the world biggest cushion, I just hope to god they fit me with the worlds largest parachute for a slower decent otherwise this shall be me💩💩💩

LOL @ worlds biggest parachute Not only would I want the worlds biggest cushion I would also want a written confirmation that I wasn't going to be dropped from any height greater than 10 ft. Yes, look after those bones, order that huge pillow!! On a serious note, apparently a lot of us need a vitamin D supplement. Generally (in the United kingdom) a lot of us are not outside enough to get our vit D from sunlight and even more so in winter. I read an article the other day that said that Ricketts is on the increase here and adults can have a form of Rickets and it's called Osteomalacia. The doctor being interviewed said that he takes a vit D tablet every day and on cloudy days he takes 2. Of course though, people should ask their doctor before taking any new tablets that aren't prescribed. I'm obsessed with bones at the moment
Looking after our bones as we mature is a good thing as along we mix this with as much activity/exercise as possible , and of course a good healthy eating life style helps too! 😁
Hopefully I'm not lacking in Vit D after my recent Turkish holiday! However will consider Vit D tablet over the winter months Alf! Cheers for this info! 😁😁
WOW!!!! what a Girl😁😁😁, you certainly don't hang about. You are soooo brave👌👌. I have flown an aircraft, a helicopter and had a balloon ride, but they had somewhere to sit or stand. If you are fundraising , the best one I found is BT Mydonate, as they don't charge commission. As far as I know, all the other's do. I used them on my Ben Nevis climb a few years ago, and they have a website similar to Just Giving. Let us know when you get it sorted.Best of luck with the pre fall stuff,
Microlite,Hmmmm, now there's a thought😁 My wife is trying to get a place in the 2020 London Marathon ( she's 70 this Friday 🏃♂️🏃♂️🏃♂️) ,Maybe you could try something similar.
Interesting!!!!! London Marathon! Is your wife doing it alone? I did one in the 80's in Ludlow ! Might consider 2020 but no promises unless I have to apply now ?
I'm 67 on 1st July! Maybe my GP will surprise me with his approval on jump! I'm already strengthening my legs with weights ready for the landing 😁😁😁😁

Hi Trish, yes,she is running alone because the members of the running club she started in our village, are only 5 or 10K runners.. She has already applied for a place through the ballot system. She has run 35 marathons to date plus a few ultra-distance, not as fast as she used to be, but ran our local Prestwood 10K in 59.37 mins a week ago. She has run loads for charity, but with some, you have to guarantee to raise £2000, and have to make up the shortfall yourself. Thanks, I will pass on your good wishes to her.

On the running front!,I use to run 4 mile in 25 minutes, running from my village and back again! ! I'm not sure if that's good or not anymore as I'm not really into running now.
Just arrived home after posting 250 flyers to various homes with very long drive ways on my new business ! Lol!
I was back then in my late 20's and really fit! 8 minutes per miles is going some! My brother did the Lobdon Marathon some years back and came within the first 200 and won himself a medal!
Oh well its lunch time then back to work on my computer!
Hi Millipop, I did it with Bucks Search and Rescue, as a training exercise. I was a member for many years, searching for old gits like me 🤣🤣🤣 who had lost their marbles and couldn't find their way home. It was great fun searching woods through the night in the torrential rain. Now, they might be searching for me🤣🤣🤣
Thanks Owlie for your encouragement! I must admit I never expected so many lovely messages which are spurring me on! Even my daughter Lorraine who did a 15,000 foot dive whilst living in New Zealand is backing me fully on this one, so I'd hate to let anyone down!

I raised alot of funds for Dr Banardos some years back , and what an amazing feeling that was! I'm proud of you !
